Im not able to add a avatar pic. It just comes up as a cross. Ive tried both uploading and linking to external site and had no luck.

Any ideas as to how to fix this? Ive got an image smaller then the maximum side in both dimentions and size

Having exactly the same problem here, with the exception that no cross-image appears in my case, it justs updates the profile succesfully but nothing appears as avatar picture.

Use a gif image not a jpeg
Works for me

Saved it as .gif but didn't work.
