Quite often I require parts that are maybe not -really- easy to get, but they do come up for sale every now and then.. they are also not necessarily parts that I need straight away but would like to get my hands on them at some point in the future.

What I would like to see is a separate 'wanted' section, but to be used purely for non-critical parts that people are looking for. That way, if anyone ends up with parts for sale, they can go here and see if anyone is looking for them and can then just contact someone directly. It would have to be well moderated by the posters though so that once you have the parts you're after you remove or edit your post so that the list is kept up to date.

Probably too hard to do, A: people will just add crap, B: No-one will remove items if they receive them, C: Nobody will look in there to see if what they are going to sell is wanted by somebody in particular.
Wanted and for sale should just be in the same section, even if it's not critical to get, somebody may have it when they see the post and reply, or remember the post if they come across a part. The search works pretty good if the post goes too far down the list.

i dunno, i reckon a seperate for sale and wanted section makes it easyer, i think it would be better this was as there is only 1 section to seperate

i dont know if scum's idea is a good one or not.
but i do know he makes me laugh more than anyone else on this forum.
