Im not able to add a avatar pic. It just comes up as a cross. Ive tried both uploading and linking to external site and had no luck.

Having exactly the same problem here, with the exception that no cross-image appears in my case, it justs updates the profile succesfully but nothing appears as avatar picture.

Use a gif image not a jpeg
