Hi all
My widebody wheels are arriving next week and im looking at tyres at the moment. Now everyone has said to use 205/55-16 on the front 7'' wheels, and 225/50-16s on the rear 8'' ones.
Im going to be putting my low king springs in at the same time so just wondering if i need to go to a slightly lower profile tyre to make sure i get no guard rub. Was thinking maybe 205/50-16s on the fronts and stil doing the 225/50-16s on the back as there seems to be more clearance in the rear.
Any thoughts or opinions welcome

You should be able to go 225 on the front. Mine just miss the strut/spring perch. then 245 on the rear would look sweet :)

After talking to a couple of people they said that if you use the factory tire sizes from the widebody and you lip or roll your guards you'll be fine.
Yeah im trying to avoid rolling the guards if possible, dont wanna find any more cancer in the rear guards by doin that!!!

Haha yeah would love to go bigger, although alot of the guys on SQC seem to think the car handles better with 205s on the front.
Mite wait til i get the 9" rears for the 245s!!!

Stock 195/70 14 diameter = 628.6mm
Stock 215/60 15 = 639mm
225/50 16 = 631.4mm
245/45 16 = 626.9mm

i run the 205/50/16's on my orange rig, with 225/50/16's on the rear. 7's and 8's too... handles awesome! steering response is sharper with lower profile tyres.
