had fun fitting these buggers on my Starion.
when you file the door lock hole out watch that the file doesn't slip out and u scratch the paint. trial fit door locks as u go file a bit at a time.
i don't know what type of file to call it. so here goes use the half curvy file, file the top & sides a little. then trial fit solex lock. for the sides i used a round file to fit the ridge in the inner side of the solex lock.
For fitting the right door lock on the right side of your door locks.look at the instructions u get with the solex door locks.

lucky i need a paint job.
good luck have fun

hope i could be of any help.

can be done with a steady hand and an air die grinder as well, tape up paint around door lock to prevent cracks draw the outline of the new lock with pencil on tape and start grinding, slowly.
Great locks, prevent the old screw driver trick
