Do you want lowered springs to suit the standard Dampers or are you thinking of using an adjustable coilover type setup?
There are several options .

In that case , I'd just use King Springs . The price for a set of 30mm lowered with approx. 30% harder rate is only $300.

For most guys in most applications these are great . However if you want to go slightly harder rate , custom ones will cost you $500 .

If you need their contact details or advice on Spring rates , just PM me . :)

I'm also looking to lower my car and trying to minimise the expense.

I found a guy in Moorebank (Sydney) who will make custom springs.
JUMBOZ (aka All Springs) 9601 5155

He recommends linear all round. Note...The King Springs are linear in the rear and progressive in the front.

He also said that 38-40mm is the maximum you'd want to go for a Starion to minimise bottoming out.

Price $125 a pair... (Whatever height you want)
