maybe dependant upon:

* legalaties with them
* build quality

If NZ orders are ok, and price is reasonable. Definately count me in.

EDIT: Oh yeah and size matters (guage sizes) - I think Im after 2 5/8" but I need to check.

im going to make them so it fits the 60mm 2 5/8" gauges but you can still use the 2" ones as well just cut a smaller hole - same housing.

its not a huge item so sending it back to my home land shouldnt be a problem

havent worked out a price yet or made the protoype. give me a couple of weeks and i will post a reply

I can smell defects for all.
It will be in the crash zone thing. Police dont like them on Nismo boys so we wont be any different. Cool Idea tho. U couldn't adapt take mould off the universal fitting one from an Autobarncould you?

i get alot of the highway patrol cars in at work, and they have this new one called a smart car. In these cars they have a radar on the right hand side of the dash cluster. I've moved these cars around and this lil *cough* radar does obscure some vision. Solidly mounted on a steel bracket. I asked the policeman about the legalities of this and he said there was no probs. yeah for them maybe. :oops:
To find out further info ask to have the ADR's from vicroads sent out to you, in regards to modifications. They are usually very happy to do this for enthusiasts.
Maybe i'll ask Mr policeman when he comes in next time. They're all top blokes and enjoy a good chat, aaah the stories i could tell. hehehehehe

In my old staz a cop made a comment about the boost guage on the pillar saying that it isn't allowed. When asked why the reply was "U can disembowel yourself on it"

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

Now I didn't do Biology at school but if my stomach region is anywhere near the top of the dash something odd is going on.

On the way home a quick observation was made and how many taxi's do you see with all there wizz bang electronic shit all over the top of dash.
I Guess when you sign up to be a taxi driver you have become a organ donor (of the bowel especially)

i know this chick she's got a wrx with all the trimings and an sti engine to boot!! now one night the cops pull her over and tried to defect her for her wrx standard wing :x hmmmm

A guy I know had a lancer (typical EVO 4,5,6 wannabe) with those clear/Altezza tail lights and nearly got done for them!

yes, i guess the more aftermarket pieces in/on the car, the more attn it grabs. :x the price of rice. :wink:
Though if its done properly according to the laws, then there should be no probs. If you cant have them, then why are they available??? should'nt they then be pulled from the shelves??
I like the look, so long as its not overdone.
:D

I asked a cop to give me his name and badge number because i had to invoice him when i went and did a roadworthy on my car, and the cost of doing it, and the time, because he was wrong and i am qualified to do RWC and i have to charge out per hour. He laughed.. but went back to the car to "check something"...and then let me go.

I also have a mate that got pulled over by a cop doing 127 on a country road. The cop said "ive been waiting for you all night"...my mate said, "well i got here as fast as i could" ...the cop pissed himself laughing...but my mate didnt get off! rofl
