I have made a circuit like this:
..and it worked a treat. It's a bit of a laugh, and you get a few funny looks, but I wouldn't do it in the widebody, it looks cool enough already :P

Cookie, it's fully sik and you know it. Now finish wiring up those window washer LEDs for me and I'll let you off the chain.

an even quicker way is to press the button to turn the lights on, and when they're halfwayh up, pull the fuse out

A less quicker (but more accurate way) is to remove the fuse, press the button, and stick the fuse in and out quickly until the lights are at the desired level. Not as fully sik as having your own switch to do it.

they will pop all the way if you just wind them i have been informed.
I dont know about anyone elses lights, but might are anything but in synch, the left one gets almost completely up before the right one starts.

My JA used to do that. The left one would sometimes also not go up unless I pulled at it slightly. What I did was spray a good amount of WD40 on the arm that pushes it up to get rid of all the crap, then sprayed a good amount of silicon type of lubricant. I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

This style is huge in Japan, you put a cover over the one that doesn't open and it's called "Pirate Mode". Does anyone know how I can get my car to do this?

I can show you, but you have to say "Arrrrrr" and 'Shiver me timbers" alot when you drive.

Mine have done this for years. I used to toggle the on and off switches and have them pop up alternately...looked like the car was winking.
