Hey guys,
Ikno a few of you have had the standard carpet on the floors replaced with some nicer stuff (i think u sed u had it done merlin). Where abouts did you get it done? How much did it cost? And did you have to fit it yourself or did they do it for you?

Knox Auto Carpets. Depends on which type you get, but generally around $130.

Unless you live in Vic, you'd have to do it yourself. And I doubt they'll have all the holes. It shouldn't be that hard to figure it out :?

You cut the holes yourself. You'll need a good knife though. Also may be worth getting some underlay unless you want it looking like the saggy baggy elephant (now i'm showing my age :)).

got it from a place near Liverpool.
i dont think the name was Knox.
something like $120.
u have to fit and trim yourself.
allow a full day for the job.
buy yourself a new bread knife and siscors from wollies before you start.
the cut pile type will send you crasy after a time,
it ends up like clumps of cat hair or something.
loop pile is a bit cheaper, but lasts much better.
and 12 months later, will look better.
a bit of underlay is a good idea, the old stuff will rip up/off when you remove the old carpet (a bit).
it also good for smoothing some of the lumps and bumps.
