After a show of hands for who would be interested in a glass JD bumper.

I have got a hold of one and will consider making a mould from it with view to making them available to purchase.

No promises yet, just trying to get some figures together.
I know LXs was looking at this option - have we heard anything further on that LXs, be interested to know before I make any moves.

Put your hands up by no obligation yet.

apparantly driving lights are relatively cheap/easy to get. and i can't mould my airdam into my bumper cos it will crack too easy considering the surfaces are 2 different materials... but fibreglassing my airdam onto a fibreglass bumper would work ;)

but alas, miss moneypenny got me round her lil pinky :(

The spolier is readily available (JD version) and I already have a mould for the JA air dam.

The lights, as mentioned above, are available. I am considering making the frame section in glass though. Then we could find some improvised version of the indicator/park light/driving light.

The other part I am looking at making is the JB or JD pillar vents. I ave a set but have not put any thought to it yet.

Guards are easy, its the rear quarters that cause headaches. Those buggers dont just bolt on.

plus inner guards

And the sills and this and that and the story goes on.
The pillar vents why? - because the JA versoin creates alot of wind noise, and how many "JD" Starions have you seen with JA vents - it just doesnt look right.

I am just working out the mechanics of the bumper mould now and will have a better idea of the complexities. For a such simple bumper I have used much less complicated moulds believe me.
