ok guys....
i just need so expressions of interest here...
ive found a place that does kits like enforcers one...
i just need some interest from you guys...
i will be doin the posting blah blah...
i need to know if youd be interested in the
front bar and the side skirts from enforcers car...
i can get as many made as you guys would like and
the cost wont break your budget either...
better than those crappy $1500 body kits....
alot nicer and nearly half as cheap...
so lemme know whos interested so i can organise
it with the fabricators....

the price depends on how many people want them....meaning the more people there is the cheaper itll be....
also this guy does the exact same bar as coltspeed for good prices aswell...
weights 3kgs....i got mine for less than $400...
so if youd like i could get a more better pricing with more people...
its all your choice in the end im just asking this so it could be cheaper to everyone...

look guys its like this...
the coltspeed bar has had a mould made out of it and so there is no difference between them...
the side skirts are exact copies from the en4ser car....
the whole kit should cost roughly $730 dollars if i can get more than five guys together...
its that simple...
380 for the bar and 350 for the skirts which are very hard to manufacture...
look very nice on starions though....
so all i need is a definate yes...

If this guy has copied directly off the Coltspeed one without permission and/or the Coltspeed one is patented he might be about to get the arse sued off him.

Flopping is both illegal if patents exist but just plain unethical if not. ie Coltspeed paid to have moulds built and developed the shape etc which has to amortised over the number that he sells. Then someone comes along, likes it, buys one, flop moulds it then goes into competition and the only thing he offers is a cheaper price. Then the consumer turns around and wonders why no one will develop a new mould for skirts/wings etc because the "owner" says stuff it, why put my money up for someone to copy and undercut me and the "flopper" wont do it because it would cost him too much.

Out of principle I wouldn't buy one. But thats just me.

seems most ppl just after the skirts tho... how does it work patent wise if its a custom job? if its custom there is no mould right? then how is he gonna reproduce them? he must know what skirts they are and be able to modify them to fit starions, just like the person who done enforcer's. so now i'm confusing myself :?

So long as the item is effectively 10% different then it is not a patent breach. Flopping is direct reproduction, without modifications.

If he using something as a base then customising it, he is safe. If its a direct flop he is breaching patent laws - that is if the product has a registered design patent. If its not patented then it all gets a bit pear shaped.

Not passing judgement on you guys, just making a point that supporting any "flopper" hurts the genuine supplier who invests time and money into developing products for sale. :)
