Ive had a skyline handbrake fail and roll through my shed rofl
I have also had the starion handbrake assemply nut snap off, luckely i was in the car. I now always put the car into gear.
Whats wrong with starting the engine using the key ?

2. it allows you to warm up the car without having to go outside to turn it on. Could be handy around winter etc
Also if your car is covered in snow, you can use this instead of digging the car out.
Doesn't really seem worth the hassle to me, but Im sure there are people who would testify it as a great feature.

Will cost more to get fitted i know, But i think electronic gadgets are great.

i had to go the emergency department because my starion hand brake failed and I was in it's way! I'll try and post pics it looked awesome!

My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.
