Also.... I am currently looking for a job for this year until I start my course next year. I would like to do something in the line of cars, whether it be detailing and spraying, smash repairs. mechanical work, anything, even if its not related to cars....

Let me know, I can send a resume if needed

I have mates that paint, i used to do it but not anymore. Bring it down during the day but i would budget $3000 for a nice job.

I have mates in Brissy who do it too (I am not suggesting), and they do me really good deals, and for a good spray $3000 is what you want. If you stick with your same colour it is cheaper, but you always want a good job. Don't go stingy on it. Get it done right, and you will have people drooling

It depends on what you class as good.
Personally I can pick the shit out of a $3000 (generally speaking) paint job. A good job ranges from $6000 - $10000.
It also depends on how much panel repairs and prep work needs to be done.

It also depends on how far you strip the car for them. I been quoted 3k but i'm allowing 4k, so far everything behind windscreen removed, just motor to go.
There are a shit load more parts in a Starion than i suspected

Yeah Flav, if ya know the right people who do great jobs you can get a good low price of around the 203k mark and that is shmick. Don't expect it to include engine bay though.

Man quit that job....

Too far for wages... plus its one constant head spin... Its not that hard to spray... can easily be done by almost anyone... just need somewhere to put the damn car away from dust and ALOT of prep work

Not hard but IMHO a pretty shit job.
Get a good job and pay some other poor shmoe to do it. I'd much rather be in the A/C in front of a PC than losing my fingerprints prepping the body.
