Starion ride height, pictures wanted please.

Post by Starion_Turbo »

Ok

I have coming a set of GR-2 Shocks from USA (currently somewere in Ascot Vale) and while im at it I want to do the springs starting with rear, I have already decided that I will lower the rear, however I like were the front is sitting already but am unsure as to weather the springs have sagged or if that is actually the stock height of the front.
Is it possible to combine lowered rears with standard height fronts?
How much lower are the king springs lowered (40mm?)

So does anyone have a side on picture of their car with lowered king springs all round and still have factory 14 inch rims with standard diameter tyres?? Or have standard height springs and factory wheels and a pic??

Mine is shown below:

Thanks

I think the King Springs are 30mm lower, then maybe settle to 40mm after some driving.

If you decide to go with the lowered rear King Springs I have a set for sale and mates rates. They are basically brand new and in the box they came in.
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

Yeah it was taken shortly after it was lowered, im not 100% sure but i swear that the old sagging springs were lower.

Nxtime - there something like 215/60 i think, they're like buggy tyres hehe

should have 215 / 65 on 14 or 225/ 60 on 14
for closest to stock size

I'm going through the same questions and trying to decide on standard or lowered King springs and because of sagging I have no idea how my current ride height compares.

Can anyone with either standard or lowered Kings advise the measurement from the centre of the wheel to the edge of the guard (both front and back)??

I'm sure this would help both Dallas and me. :D :D

thanks

Yeah my front springs have sagged to a lowered state possibly lower then lowered.

Ur best bet for a standard height picture is if somone has new standard height shocks installed, I'm pretty sure Ill be going lowered on the front.
