Yes I have. I have 6" splits with the woofer in position shown, and tweeter in panel above. Interior is out of the car at the moment getting a retrim, so no pics.
My speakers required surgery to the metal.

Yes. I had a set of 5" splits mounted in there. Just put sound deadener over the other holes to seal them up and it didn't sound too bad....Had to have a good amp on them to hear them through the seats though

i've got a pair of 5" kevlar 2 ways in there and off a good amp they are brutal!
FS: Ford 302ci Windsor. Race prepped block, Clevite bearings, ARP fixings, Hypertectic pistons, nitrided rods, knife edged crank, Gilmer drive, chrome moly rings, Yella Terra stage 3 heads, manly valves, Comp cams 294* solid roller, YT roller rockers, Funnelweb manifold, 2 inch spacer, Proform 830cfm carb, K&N 10" stack, ICE ignition. - 0437900210

When the CD collection ranges from death metal all the way to black metal, 'sound imaging' doesn't really matter :wink: . Its all a muddy mess anyway. Sounds good to me.
