door seals

any ideas on how to remove the door seals prior to a paint job without ripping them to shreds?

Carefully :)

I found it easier to work the small plastic thingies out of the rubber rather than trying to pull them out with the rubber attached. Once the rubber is off, just use some needle nose pliers to pull out all the clips.
