hey guys, just scored a 3 pce wing (wooot)
just wondering on how i would mount it..
any ideas? tanks
how to mount 3pce rear wing
If you car had a 3 piece from the factory it's very easy
Just slot the pieces in place and screw the nuts on.
However if you have a older model then it's not that easy
You can drill some of the holes on the fenders, but rear most mounting is made into the chassis. So that would require modifying the rear quarter or the wing parts. Or use high strength adhesive.
And last. the boot part, I guess the easiest way is to cut the mountings from the wing and stick it on with high strength adhesive.
The problem is your boot glass doesn't have the mounting holes in it required to mount it.

To fit a 3 piece spoiler in place of the rubber ducktail you will find that the centre section has some bolts that match the existing fixing holes thru the glass hatch+ polyeurthane adhesive.
The side sections will need to have the protruding fixings cut off and fixed in place with adhesive and taped to hold them till the adhesive sets.
That is the way the panel shop did my JB
