FS: JA Starion

Hey,
I've recently acquired an '83 JA Starion, and i've decided id rather start off with one in better condition to modify, rather than restore and then modify.
The Starion i have is in fair condition. The bonnet is standard with JA scoop, but it is different colour to the body (grey instead of white). The body isnt in that bad condition, there is a little bit of surface rust throughout the car, and one spot which needs attention (front left panel has rusted down the bottom).
The engine is out of another JA which had done 100,000km so the current mileage is 140,000km. The tacho shows 268,000km if that is any measure. There is an oil leak, either from one of the gaskets or from the distributor. The car is licensed and runs fine, apart from a bit of a loud exhaust. The car runs a bit shitty on cold mornings but once its warm it has a perfect idle.
Car is completely stock other than Turbosmart Type I bov, which i may or may not sell with the car. Rides on old King Chrome mags (v8 bogan tekniqs), with decent tread on them.
I've been told the uni-joints are shot, you can hear them rattle when you put your foot down but doesnt seem to heed the performance of the car. Power steering squeaks and humms, but seems to work fine - the steering wheel is offset and theres a bit of play on it, i think the bushes need replacing.
Interior is pretty shabby, front seats are quite torn up, with some loose seat covers on them. Back seats are fine, apart from a tear. The interior is starting to come away, as the glue is like 20 years old :P
Would ideally suit a restore, and the bonus being it is registered till end of March.
Still competes against v6 commodores, if thats any indication of condition.
Any offers, or if you want to come and have a look, just drop a msg here.
I'm located in Bunbury, Western Australia.
