just curious........ I have been offered a very nice car that goes real fast for a good price. I don’t think I will buy it, I like my starion... but I am just entertaining the thought of getting it. this would mean selling the VR4 stazz project. just wondering what u guys would pay assuming there was one member of this forum who has 5 cents to scratch there but with :D

$2400 panel and paint. little bog, only skimmed. all rust plated. white
$3200 gallant front cut - 1991 - complete, in bits (engine together)
homemade turbo extractors
ALL exterior plastic resprayed with proper plastic spray stuff
ALL interior repaired and dyed black / custom console
Nolathane bushes all round
Dori 2 mags <-?
VR4 water mods all complete, harness almost done (std ECU)
all bits needed to do gearbox conversion, gearbox in bits
almost finished headlight conversion
almost finished steering conversion
sexist engine bay around (I think) new paint on everything
new radiator
body kit and front dam (I hate it!!)
king springs
3 or 4 Ute loads of bits / spares and some other stuff
must take purple monkey.

like i said, DREAMERS ONLY!! no real offers............... test pilots welcome as it dosent go very fast at the moment.

awwww, no one wants it? ahhh well, no supercharged 911 for me

prob a good thing, I cant afford parts for it and it needs some. it comes from a deceased estate (dead person) but was tied, up in the courts for 3 years, in that time our o so wonderful legal system took real good care of it. it has a broken windscreen, all 4 wheels/mags stolen, exhaust stolen, rear view mirror smashed off, all door locks screwdriverd, stereo stolen, console damaged, rear wing broken off, green spray paint on one side (some IDIOTS poofter tag, letting everyone else know how much of a looser he is) and weather damaged interior.
a friend of our family is handling the whole thing and can get me the car for $7,000, as there are only records for $7k spent on it so it is the min he can do it for. looks like it is going to auction. ahhhh well, was nice to think about.

Mint Condition Starion's sell here for $5000 approximately

If I had a VR4 Starion, finished, and in perfect condition, I would not sell for less than $7000.

If its a half finished project, provided you found somebody intersted, it would be a hell of a lot less I'll say that. People tend to pay top dollar for problem free exactly-what-they-want cars. But 99% of the population is either mechanics who want it dead cheap, or consumers who dont want to pay heaps for something they cant finish themselves.

Well thats what I reckon.
