Sorry mate, but I think $4990 is a touch much for a JA, even with all of the extra bits.
It would be more like $2800.
Considering an immaculate and faultless JA is selling for $3000 at the moment.

maybe whomever is selling their ja for 3k isnt asking enough? as much as I like getting a good deal I think that in general we should raise the resale value of our cars, recently Ive noticed that 3k is about right for a tidy car with a few faults, 5k is right for something more tidy, and we have seen very nice cars selling for upwards of 10k...

any photos?

i think it depends on how the market for them is going at the time nachoman... u don't wanna know how much i paid for my standard one just 3 years ago :(

Yeah I agree with all that...
But, prices for our cars are determined by what someone is willing to pay for it. Market Value has almost no impact now.

I paid $5990 for my red JA back in 1996, and it was riddled with problems.
And only a year ago Dave Kitson paid $1800 for the silver JA that he used to own.
Tom, Gunz Gannaway is the guy selling his JA for $3000, and you know what sort of condition that car is in!

Show me the pics...

When I bought my Starion 1 yr ago, $3000 would buy piles of crap. I looked at every one that I saw for sale in a 100km radius for about 6 months before I found a goodish one. I even saw stock JAs with ripped seats asking $6K.

Personally I reckon $5K for an good condition Staz is about the going rate. They aint getting easier to find.

:o Geeez..that cant be right...these ppl underestimate the starions... i think that they are unique and beautiful cars, which were built ahead of their time, and for that very reason, they should be more expensive so that they only appeal to the ppl who truly love them and devote all their hard earned cash on them.... :wtf:
I love starions.....
