I NEED A GAUGE CLUSTER! LOOK!

Post by Kreal »

Hi,

I am in the USA and am wanting a 180kph gauge cluster in good shape.

Willing to pay all shipping costs.
I have paypal.

I also want a front license plate bracket (black thing on front bumper), rear tail lights set, and front grill headlight squirters.

Willing to trade US parts aswell as I have parts from 17 widebodies/flatbody US cars.

Here is a pic of what I am looking for.

Thanks!

Paul

Afaik japanese cars had 180 kph speedos, aussie cars all have 240.

Why is it that the ammeter is always a different colour?

My 1983 GSR-II has that exact cluster. AFAIK the NZ new cars were all UK-spec, so speedo was in miles with smaller kms up to 260kph.

NZ models have the 240 or 260 speedos, they're direct copies of the European EX.

We have a lot of 180 speedos (analog and digi) because we get a lot of Jap imports. The Japanese got the 180 speedo, a speed cut, and the 3.9 diff due to their governments regulations (180 max speed).

GX,GSR-I and GSR-II had the 180 analog, GSR-III/X/V had digital.

I know of at least one person on this forum who has a spare 180 analog that is probably for sale, but I'll leave it to them to put their hand up :)

Watch your speed - It's virtually impossible to pick it out of the carpet if it gets blown off the table.
