anyone want a 2l sohc 4g63 turbo in Brissy. Will be doing a vr4 conversion and wont need my 2lt anymore.
It was only rebuilt 3000km ago with hyperuectic pistons.
head was checked out too.
turbo not included.

its in a cordia but i think it was originally for a starion as it has an oil cooler
and the throttle body is the original cordia one not a starion. the short motor was brand new in 1998 and put in by mitsu, then someone (not me) did a piston in it thus the new pistons.

The oil cooler has nothing to do with it. The difference between the two engines is the width where it bolts to the bellhousing. Cordia motors won't bolt up to a starion gearbox and vice versa.

when in doubt post pictures, put up a picture of the mystery engine m8
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

If you want to know for sure, let me know when the engine is out, i have a gearbox housing that you could compare the block with. Im not too far away from bribie too.

i will take it if it will fit my staz and its a 2litre 4g63
i didnt think they made 4g63 cordias? was this some kind of lancer gsr conversion? or wat?

Mistubishi in Sydney fitted it. it was Brand new 6 yrs ago. 1.8 lt engines were not availible. not sure when it will be coming out as im building a vr4 for mine. All i need is a vr4 block and computer with loom and im done.
