Hi guys,
Being a computer technician at the local store, I get everything at a fairly heavily discounted price. I am starting to put together some tower replacement packages (ie, you keep your current keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, etc but replace the computer) that I have a fair bit of experience in building.
I have included some pictures of one of these systems which I am currently using at home for an mp3 server (ie, plays music to my stereo from another pc, also allows for playing of video over the network - wirelessly).
The specifications on the "basic" system are as follows:
Pentium 4 3.0Ghz CPU
Asus P4S800-MX Motherboard
- Integrated 10/100 Ethernet
- Integrated AC97 Audio
- Integrated SIS Chipset VGA (16mb shared memory)
512MB DDR400 Memory
Samsung 80GB 7200RPM 2MB HardDrive
802.11b/g Wireless Network Card
Slimline White Case (Also available in Silver/Black)
The parts outlined in the above system are what is included in the basic system. PM me for any modifications that you want to do to the system (ie, inclusion of optical drives, floppy drives, etc).
Maximum expandability of system is: 2 3.25" Drives (ie, Floppy Drive or Hard Drives) and 1 5.25" Drive (CD Rom or DVD Rom).
Price of the aforementioned package is $600.00. This price includes the installation of Windows XP Professional SP2 and Norton Antivirus 2005. I will include CD's for these 2 applications.
This is the system from the front
This is the system from the back
This is the inside of the system. If an optical drive is to be installed, it will be located over the top of the motherboard in a mounting bracket.
These are the parts that are included in the motherboard box. Please note the 2x 60mm fans that are included. These fans are normally installed in the case but due to noise constraints on my system (has to be quiet) I have removed them. It is your choice if you want to leave these in or not.
If anyone has any questions or is interested in a similar package, don't hesitate to drop me a PM or call me at 0416 041 555.
Thanks guys.
