What about R30 rims?

Local guy has some, he said it has 120 on a sticker inside the wheel, which I guess is the backspace. If that is true, it makes the 8" wheels a +20mm offset. Only wants $750 and they come with road legal Yokohama race tyres. Says they came off an R30 Skyline, suit RWD Mitsi, AE86, R30 Skyline etc.

Pattern is the same for a lot of old school datto stuff. Offset and backspace will be where you come unstuck. Worse comes to worse, put them on and see what they hit.

an 8" wheel would only really fit on the back (apparently its been done on the front but i cant really see how, it would be pushing it)
anyway, all the extra 1" going from 7->8" needs to be all on the inside on the back, so the ideal offset is between 25 (working off a +12 base offset wich imho positions the outside perfectly) and 31.

that guy must be running some decent size spacers to have them sitting that far out on the skyryn

CussCuss,
I have 8" on the front although the guards really do need to get rolled (it just touches at the moment).
