Was it sent by Registered Post ?? You didn't skimp out on Registered Post to save $2.55 or so :x

If so, you can make a complaint to Australia Post, you'll recieve a min $100 plus postage unless you/he Insured it for extra by which you would receive more then, that is ofcourse if they can't find it.

Incar Phil? Hmmm, Didn't he shaft a guy on here when he was selling a 'rebuilt engine'?

Hope the turbo shows up, but I wouldn't be holding my breath.

It's -very- unusual for things to get lost in the post.

Did you pay for it before it was sent? If no then it probably is lost in the post. If yes, well...........

wtf???? lost in the mail? My gf works for Aus.post and things dont get lost very often!!! Its usually a case of wrong address on the package or its sitting at the post office waiting to be collected...........or it was never sent in the first place. This is usually the case unfortunately and is quite common on forums and websites. Be very aware of people needing to 'urgently' sell things at bargain prices, and when they get a huge response they usually have more than one item to sell of the same thing! I have built a reputation here for sending what people pay for by registered post and keeping the numbers handy untill the package arrives. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING UNLESS ITS BEING SENT REGISTERED.
Unfortunately we can all guess its been paid for...and sent unregistered...right?

p.s. i dont know phil, and i am not saying he is a theif...but when things look so obvious...? :glare:

I have met & dealt with Phil and didn't think he was untrustworthy. Admittedly it is unusual for items to get lost in the mail, though not unheard of.

I can vouch that Parcels do get lost through Australia Post, these usually tend to be C.O.D items but again not very often at all, or sometimes it gets sent but the local Post Office forgets to leave a note in your Letter box to go and collect it. Either incar_phil will get it back in a week or so from Australia Post not notifying you or it has been lost. Even if it is lost and wasn't sent be Registered mail, you can still make a complaint to Australia Post for them to chase it up and try to find it.

I emailed you yesterday, the courier found it, should be there Friday/Monday.

I use Couriers everyday in my business, it normally only takes 2 days to Vic from Qld and it's only about $2/kg, including up to $1500 insurance per consignment. In 8 years only 1 parcel has even been lost. Much better than Aust Post, they once left $2000 worth of amps outside my shop at 6:30am! We opened at 9am, so a big heavy box was left on the doorstep of a Car Audio shop! No onder it was pinched, being Express Post it had no insurance!

As for the re-built motor I sold Strion, i spent $9000 on that motor alone, it was built for my purple beast, but then I got the V6. I sold him motor, rebuilt gearbox($1450), $600 clutch, WRX turbo, custom exhaust and intake manifold and four 550cc injectors for $3000.

He doesn't want it, I'm trying to get it back for my new JA, I've already given him back $1250, I tried to meet him when I was in Sydney at the end of Oct to get it all back. Ahmad, call me please!!!

I'm not bagging you incarphil. But you sent me an email saying you
wanted to buy an inlet manifold i had forsale. Then you wouldn't
pay-up for it. Then your suddenly uncontactable.
My 2 cents worth is your a 'dodgy dealer' :(

Actually, I've just realised that there were TWO sonata manifolds for sale, both in WA at the same time! What are the chances of that????

I messaged both you and "rev" about the manifolds that were up for sale, see other thread http://austarion.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2430

I must have gotten confused when you guys emailed me (using real names not austarion nics)

Sorry man, my mistake
