I had these made by Simmons twice to get the width I was looking for. Comes with 245s and 225s with a bit of wear still in them.
They have not a mark on them, I'll take some close up photos when I get a chance.
Would easily cost $4000+ new
I'm asking for a very reasonable $1500

fcuk the speedo! buy them, paint the centres dark grey and enjoy 9"s of width baby! i'd guess they'd be a 30 profile tyre? 35? not much difference in total diameter from stockers

The best size to run on the 16s is 245/45 and 225/45 or 225/50 (cheaper).
On my 18s I run 285/30 and 235/40.
I'm putting 19x11 and 19x9.5 on my purple JA with 305/25 and 255/30

Are you going to mod the guards and/or put flares on them? :D

The 18x10 with 283/30 fit under the standard guards fine, mind you I had to have Simmons make the wheels twice.
My purple JA is being tubbed front and rear, so it wont be a problem.

How exactly will you tub the front? Widebody guards would be a better idea.

Charlie,
I tubbed the fronts on the race car when I got it. Got a tub of CT18 and a gurney and improved wheel clearance by about 2 inches of crap. :)

I'm old-school, I like my JA! :)
Think V8 Super Car in a Starion shell, only 300kg lighter and with nearly double the power.

LOL, I like that Idea, I think I might have to do the same to mine, Greg ;)
Phil, You can put wide body guards on the JA. I know all about your V6TT idea. I considered it a very long time ago, but I don't have the spare financial resources to attempt it. Hey, I don't even have them for my poor old SOHC JA.
