i just had great sucsess in restoring my carpet with dye from K-mart, if yours isnt THAT bad i sugest giveing it a go, i thought mine was a gonner, now is all sexy and black :D
- clean wheelie bin, hook hose up to hotwater and half fill bin, 2 packs of dye (cant remember name, pm if need it same size as bar of soap but in little cardboard box) disolve dye in another thing of REALY hot water, pour in, add carpet, stir occ for 30 - 45min. alow to dry (not in sun), add salt to tase. serves 4.
note- ruins sound proofing, just get more, cheap as hell. i did mine twice coz i got board and pulled it out too early, later noticed light patches, got 2 more packs of dye. (brand- rizza??? (not rizzla papers  ))

I don't want to spend $150 which is why i'm asking the question - it's probably a long shot, but maybe someone has one :)
I have no carpet at all so I can't 'fix' it. This is not for my 2JZ Starion which I already have a new carpet for.

New carpet does look shit loads better than old carpet, only have to pay for it once for a long long time if you treat it well

What colour you want?
I can do a brown in good condition - its bout to come out of a donor car. If not to your colour choice then the dye treatment might work but at least you would have something to attach the dye to.
$50.00 plus postage to Brisbane (not sure how to get it there though - pretty bulky)
email me at
farmerg@rexel.com.au if you're interested
Cheers
