Question...does anyone know if they are legal....waters seem a bit muddy around that depending on state and so forth. The rules leave a fair bit to interpretation. Be nice to grab a set this cheap though.

The rules here in New Zealand are they are legal, but have to be certified. The certifier insists on the sleeves being welded to the shock tube, and not the cast hub, as this will help limit the chance of stress cracking.

Buy the full set through ebay as per their ad. If they dont go through with it...then leave them the appropriate neg feedback. Technically you could take it even further (false/misleading advertising)

One would assume they bring them in as a full set so if you only buy half they get stuck with the other half.

They were a $1000 for a while ago in my original post but price has gone up to $1200 with free postage. Still cheaper than the group buy!!

I was hoping to get a pricing closer to when you orginally posted Mal with a group buy, but as you said its cheaper than then original group buy already.

Speak to John, he go some custom made ones for his track car a few weeks ago.

Based off the D2's, but with a few tweaks, and about the same pricing too!

Aaron do you mean John196701? Didnt he buy D2's earlier? Did they make him custom ones from scratch or just tweaked the D2's he already had?

Yep.

He has D2's in his street car, but got these new ones made by someone else overseas.

The design is based off the D2's but with more adjustability.
