No#1 GSR-VR on Yahoo/Also #100

Post by JDSTAZ45 »

If this doesn't attract any interest from Aussie buyers, than I don't know what will....
Starting price at 50,000yen ~$700 Allowable for import due to it being an 1988 model

Interestingly, the car was red, but repainted white. It's strange that there aren't many, if any, red GSR-VR's for sale. All that I have seen, have been repainted....
I'm all Starioned out to show interest in this one.... :P

A couple of points:

Car has rust in various areas. Also, it is located on the Northern Island (Hokkaido) so shipping costs will be higher.

But still looks like a good basis for an enthusiast. And it's number 001 :D

About a day to go and the price has gone up to 101,000yen < $1500
I think it will end up going cheap but you never know if there are a few parties interested.

I suppose this would be the first A187A widey released in Japan.
The 2.0L widey (A184A) would have existed prior to that!

engine and other components in working condition
rust here and there
rear spoiler paint chip (more like paint GONE)

front seats left and right are changed to Lanser GSR recaro
stock seats available

first GSR-VR. for restoration base chassis plz
(don't know why it's for restoration if mechanicals are in good condt)
RUST: engine compartment and rocker panel left and right are rusted big time, but other parts are minor

was driven til 4 years ago. After that, the engine was running occasionally

Aircon works. After the owner bought this car, he changed one of the rear shocks. Not sure if others have been changed or not

When the car was red, it had a sticker GTO, but was not available from Mitsu, so he put GSR-VR on it

4 speakers instead of 6 speakers and no cruise control (apparently, prototypes vin 002-010 are all like this)

The 4 speakers are located at left and right doors and the rear audio board. has no ABS (prototype spec)

Here's another one for sale for 740,000yen. No#100 and auto. About $9500 to buy in Japan and at least $11,000 FOB (freight on board).
Jap spec wide-bodies with Vin numbers xxx295 and less are allowed to be imported to Oz under the 15 year rule.

(for some reason my google translater is not working??)
***Just a short note, the white auto starion #100 sold for 740,000yen***
Widies for sale in Oz at the moment are good value... with 3 black ones and a possible white. However, this unit seems to be in superb condition.
