edit... sorry guys ive been away for quite some time. i removed the unit last night, i measured the torque tube and its 17" so i guess that means its a small diff? dont know if it means anything to anyone but it had a jap sticker on the housing "H-8" im chasing $800 for the diff inc. torque tube.
happy to MMS pictures to anyone who is interested.

Shouldn't the title be "JD LSD" then?
Can you confirm it's the large one?
The JB one is in a smaller housing.

A JB could possibly have a large diff as well particularly if it is a late 1985 model.
Measure the torque tube. If it's 17" in length, then it's a small diff. A 16" torque tube = a big diff.
Best to sell the torque tube with the diff anyway!

That car you had was an anomaly mal, no other jb has been found with a big diff! The second highest chassis number jb in the registry had a small lsd in it.. The one I sold to micheal justice.. Every other jb I've seen has had the small diff..

I can assure you there are some JB's out there with big diffs. Ron, from Coltspeed had experienced this issue and that's how I became aware of this.
The JB#219 I had was built in July, 1985....but sold in July, 1986. Maybe the answer is in that scenario. Who knows?
Interestingly, the JD#45 I had was sold in March, 1986. Large open diff!
The latest JB I have come across is #226....anyone know of any later??

My white one was 210, small diff, built july 85..
open diffs were an option in JD's to bring the price down, many of them seemed to have an open diff!

Nah... you must be mistaken there redzone....
The 210's was made by Chevy and started in -53. No ones made in -85...

Really? You're asking $800 for a complete Starion LSD and it hasn't sold yet?
What's happened to the market for these rare items?
Hang in there mate, it will sell.
