WTB: Starion wiring looms or plugs, any condition

Post by dirtygalant »

Hey guys,

I am after basically the wiring loom plugs themselves from both a JA/JB with Type A injection and a JD or Cordia GSR with Type B injection.

I need the larger of the two 18 pin (of which 17 is used) plug from the JA/JB ECU along with the 24 pin plug from a JD or Cordia GSR ECU. I would also need the ECI unit end plugs/sockets (ie for injectors, TPS, temp sensor connector, 4 pin AFM etc) from a JD or Cordia GSR - all with perhaps 10cm of pigtail wiring left on them.

Let me know what you have!

Thanks,
Phil

Could supply the plugs from a 83 Jap import ecu if they're the same as JA.
Or engine loom if easier.

Awesome, yep I think early A183A with Type A oval port ECI unit will have the same plugs as a JA - all I require from the JA loom is the largest of the two 18pin (which 17 pins are used, one is missing in the middle) connector with say 10cm of wiring attached.

It's the connector on the right hand side here (image courtesy of Krorz, either a A164A Galant or early Starion ECU pictured, he isn't sure - if you're able to double check if your ECU looks the same that would be great)

Cut it out but it seems to be different it will plug in but it only uses like 13 pins of 17.

smodgee just dropped one off this morning (will still take yours as I'm after two as I have two DASH ECUs) and his one has 15 pins in use but is still a 17 pin connector. I could easily add pins in from other connectors to use the full 17, but the DASH ECU as it stands appear to have at least one pin in that connector block un-used so should be able to get away with swapping pins from one spot to another.

As long as your one has 17 pins total (ie two lots of 8 with the one in the middle) then it should fit primo. Cheers!
