FS - Widebody SHP Wheels

Post by bodeo »

Hi,

I have a set of wide body SHP wheels for sale. They are 5 lug and 8 x 16 front and 9 x 16 rear - same type as those shown on my user details (on the left of this message). They fit nicely on a narrow body starion with a 5 lug conversion and don't require spacers.

Wheels are in reasonable condition but need some minor repair and polishing. Asking $1,200 ono - PM me if you are interested.

Cheers

Thanks. Here are pictures of the actual wheels for sale. I have also highlighted some curb damage on the rear wheels which will need repair. The front wheels are in really good condition and are simply in need of a polish.

I also had some questions on what SHP means. This is the Sports Handling Package version which are 8 x 16" front and 9 x 16" rear compared to 7 x 16" and 8 x 16" rear for the standard widebody wheels. These are quite rare to come by even in the US.

Sorry mate, I have already seen the banker and bought these for a rainy day. At least they have gone to a good home and will one day find them selves back on a Widey for originality sake. Thanks again Troy for arranging all the transport.

Congratulations groupA...nice pick-up!

Reading this post a little more closely, I assume these SHP's are an additional set to the ones on the white JA??
The ones on the JA look more polished and refurbished than this set??
Please correct me if I'm wrong....
Getting these wheels in any condition aint easy! And they hit you with postage of about US$120-130 per rim on top what you pay for the actual wheel!

Thanks guys.
The wheels are a spare set that I bought few years ago in case a wheel got damaged and for track use but figured I'd run semi slicks all the time and the chances of damaging a wheel are pretty remote.

It took a few months for Oscar to find individual wheels to come up with a full set. Not sure if he's still around but if anyone else needs a set then he is the one to talk to.
