Is there much involoved in fitting the new ones ?
Also, most starions is have seen have had dodge hand brakes, is it only the cable which ceases or is it the somthing on the caliper aswell ?

The caliper can seize as well.. very common if they haven't been serviced in a while.
The handbrake cable is relatively simple to change over.
