WTB: [VIC] Intermittent Wiper Unit

Post by Chris 83JA »

My windscreen wipers have been stuck on and I assume this guy is the culprit (at least it should be the cheapest/easiest to test).

Does anyone have a spare intermittent wiper unit lying around?

Cheers,
Chris

Chris,

I will have a look for you. From memory this is on the drivers side group of switches and cans right?

btw - how's the little beast going? Did you get the seats retrimmed? Some pics would be nice :D

I still miss that car :)

Thanks Greg,

Car's going great (apart from the lack of intermittent wipers :) ). I did get some retrimmed seats from Jeff (after he ripped them out to put buckets in his targa machine), so much more comfortable now!

I'll have to take her out on a nice scenic drive soon and get some good pics - will let ya know!

I have one. but it says 553A, not 222A.. will that be a problem? all other numbers are the same.

will swap for a headlamp motor relay if you have one - trying my luck ;)

Not sure what the difference would be. Does the inside look like this?

Don't have a headlamp motor relay unfortunately, but I'm heading up to my folks this weekend (where all my parts are stashed), so i'll see if I have anything up there I can tempt you with..

Chris

So long as the "MB" number matches, it will be the same.
