Completly rebuilt/reconditioned Cyclone DASH Head

This head has been completely rebuilt, new valve stem seals, valves were actually replaced, cam has been reground, new seals, valve springs, rockers etc have all been dipped squeeky clean havent hardly been used yet. We ran this motor in our starion for under 200klm's, all dyno time anyhow and after finding it a rust bucket and cant register it we now wrecking it/kept the bottom end for my ja/vr4 head.

Cost $590 at GEM Engineering sydney.

I'll sell the head complete with rocker cover for,

this is a noob question but will it fit straight onto the starion block and if not what has to be changed????

You would need either a Dash ecu or aftermarket ecu to run the 12 valve set up!

as well as the inlet manifold. Even getting them running on an aftermarket ECU is tricky business.

gday fellas, it is a COMPLETE head, including inlet mani, throttle body etc etc. Only thing that is not on it is the exhaust mani, which im sure you guys have anyhow.

You know how it works...when your doing up another car you sell everything for a penny to put into the other one :D :beer

Looks like 'Ash' has bought it....but he may be re-considering going the Dash route as it is not straight forward
without a few $$$ to experiment!!!

A lot of people have tried with unsatisfactory results. I remember Flav saying it was a bugger to tune and that
purple one that's forever for sale has the same problem with tuning using a microtec setup! But Wantsom has done it with the costly MPI !
It would be great if he pulls it off... :o

Are you guys talking about the controlling of the valve solinoid?

I've had this running via a standard computer and pulse reg on a cordia and mate has had one running on a megasquirt
