I'm chasing a pair of front direct replacement shocks for my GSR-V.
Does KYB or any other brand still do these?
Can anyone on here still get these?
I think I recall Redzone being able to get these. Maybe I should just ask...

Redzone? :D

Or you could run coil-overs, theres a company called hot bits that seem to do off the shelf one. Evojb on the forums mentioned them a few years back but no one seem to follow it up.

doing a google search, it seems the company is axt turbo in dandenong, VIC. their suspension division is hot bits, and they've got coilovers.. but there is no listing for the starion, as usual.

Looking at the wrong place, try http://www.hotbits.org/new/catalogue.php starion is listed with part number and price (rm is ringit malaysian). Theres a distributor for australia.

I dont think it will as cheap as under a grand when evojb mention them the price was around 1700 still cheap for coilovers.

Axt may be the aust distributor but there website looks like it hasnt been updated since the last millenium :P

perhaps 1700 would be from the australian disti eh? they have to pay for shipping it here, and then they have to pay customs/duties/taxes, and then they have to make some money for themselves..

so...... perhaps we can skip the middle man.. anyone have friends in malaysia? My dad worked there for a couple of years, so perhaps he would have some contacts.. too bad i don't speak to him.

Here's some on ebay which are the cheapest I've seen. However the postage means is thru UPS and not USPS Priority Mail.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

Send a message across and see whether he will send USPS with the tracking service...Express or Priority Mail.
If yes, then a group buy would be a good idea!
