I have alwasy wanted a widebody and Im looking at buying the one on the forum. This is an expression of interest to see if I can get enough to get the widebody thus the sale of the GSR-V will depend on the widebody being still for sale. Also the Dash Mpi engine package wont be available until the end of June, early July. Offers of around $13,000.

Car details;
1987 Black GSR-V
12v dash intercooled engine, 106,000 km's
Black interior with climate control and momo corsa steering wheel
Factory body kit with ralli-art side skirts and rear pods
16in SSR Reverse Mesh Wheels
3.54 LSD
Lowered with upgraded adjustable sway bars
Mookeeh Short Shift Kit
Cusco Front Strut Brace
OBX Daytona Fixed Back Seat (also comes with the stock starion seat)
Razo Gearknob
2.5 inch exhaust with RSR Muffler

Also coming with the car are parts that I have been collecting or in the process of buying.

Parts that come with the car:

Forged Dash MPI Engine with the following specs
Balanced bottom end with forged pistons
Balance shafts removed.
DASH 12 Valve head (mild porting and increased lift)
Custom MPI Inlet manifold
Siemens 610cc injectors
Split pulse exhaust manifold
Tomei Adjustable cam gear
MSD DIS2 CDI ignition
Magnecor R100 plugs
Twin coil setup
Haltech E6A ECU and all wiring, programs and maps

A spare forged bottom-end with (needs a freshen up)
Ross Forged Pistons
Balance shafts removed
O-ringed Block

2 spares heads and 1 DASH spare rocker cover

KKR430 Turbo and exhaust manifold

600 x 300 x76 intercooler

Universal Intercooler Piping Kit (Aluminium 2.5 inch)

New Bosch 044 Fuel Pump

New Magnaflow 3 inch Metal Cat Converter

Used 3 inch Tanabe Muffler

Used Apexi AVCR Boost controller (Blue Screen)

Used Blitz Blow off Valve

New Sard Fuel Regulator

So basically what you have is a rare narrowbody with enough parts to make a fast street/track car as well as having the spares to convert it back to standard if you so wish. I love this car dearly but the wife told me I cant have more than one toy and I have to choose. I will have more pics up soon.

Don't suppose you'd be willing to sell just the car?

No sorry, all the parts go hand in hand with the car and also selling the car by itself wont allow me to have enough to buy the widey.

I wonder in years to come whether a restored GSR-V will be worth more than a Widey??? And I suppose more desirable???

I think this car has enormous potential, but it is a matter of time and money!!

I believe DJAlpha was pretty keen on this car, so let him know of the situation.

Good luck with your new direction! :beer

Old Fart - I think im the one who needs sweet talking lessons from you given your wife has allowed you to do that many mods to the stazz. Prices arent really going up i think that $10 a pie is a reasonable price :? .

Jdstaz45 - mal im still not 100% sure i want to sell it to be honest, because of all the parts I have been collecting there isn't that much more to buy to complete the car to be honest, its just taking the time to fit everything.

Also more pics of the car can be found here

Bao what she doesn't know about she doesn't stress about :D
Remenber it has been a 16 year journey and there is still a little way to go yet
I remember a couple of years ago i came home from an event and she had been in MY SHED  and one of the first things she said was "what are those wheels in the shed doing !!???? and I said "waiting for tyres " well I mean to say if I had tyres then the 17s would have been on the Staz wouldn't they ?????????
:) LOL

IMHO neither will be worth more than you pay now. I'm an eternal pessimist though.

Good luck RT. You may need to consider finishing it to get the funds. Have you priced getting the rough edges of the paint fixed? It may cost a couple of hundred, but could make the car more desirable to a non-austarion buyer.

Maybe you should keep one of the dash motors to replace the SR :D

Hmm. Stupid import laws, another three years before it could come over to the states.

bridgey - you can have the side skirts only $13k the rest of the stuff will come for free then :D

mrbishi - i dont think a non starion enthusiest would like to pay that much for a car they dont know much about. Most will just compare it to a s13 and say they can get more power for their $$. In saying that I will complete the car anyway, even if its only for my own personal benefit.

Mainstream - i have a solution for you, if you put down a sizable deposit I will hold the car for you, i'll even finish it off and as an extra bonus I will take the car out every couple of weekends to make sure its running right :P

if you're thinking of buying starion4me's widebody, then i have 3 things to say..

1. Good on ya!! That car deserves a caring home like yours

2. SCREW YOU BLOODY QUEENSLANDERS!! STOP TAKING OUR STARIONS :glare:

3. please don't take it to dirt sprints.. that paint job is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too nice.. blemish free and perfect..

I think alot of people are confused about the dirt sprints. I dont know about the past, but the track is super compressed dirt now, worst situation
you drive away with dust on your car, its not a gravel rally.
Alot of money has gone into the track, its only a lil bit slippery in parts.
Not grippy like tarmac but you can still fry your tyres on it.
