I can do it for less than $600 in mild steel. I can do it at your house.

If you really want alloy, try one of those universal kits, should be enough parts there to do what you need so long as you have the patience.

A friends got one for his VL...theres nothing there I can use .
Also they reckon you cant really rebend that stuff...has to do with the way its made supposedly, its quite thin and hard to weld?.
The shapes I need are not in the kit !dash the luck :glare:

just buy a wrx kit and chop out the sections you want to use, tape em together in the right spot and take it to get welded

mrbishi - are you able to make up dump pipes as well?

Sure why not? I've got a bit of spare time at the moment (and no job
). It should be easy enough to come to you, cut and tack the pipes in the right spot and then I'll finish them off at home.
Depends on how complex you want the dump pipe.

do people ever use the dump pips with flex sections?
every time i go over an odd speed hump and my car lands on the exhaust, i keep thinking.. this is going to ruin the turbo/ehaust mani as it tries to force the whole thing up while the car is moving down *cries in heartache*

The humps are there to slow you down so i guess the questions are
1 How fast do you drive over them ??
2 Is your car way to low

nah my car isn't low. it doesn't hit on normal speed bumps
the one particular hump that really kills me is on mum's driveway.. it's built really stupid.. even mum's camry scrapes the bottom when it's not carrying anyhing but not-so-heavy driver.. the exhaust pipe on her camry now has a leak because of it.
and i can't have it removed because it's not her house..

Mrbishi - i was wanting to put a td05h on and get a dump pipe that ends at the stock location. Do you need the turbo in the car or can you do it with the turbo out of the car with a stock tc dump for reference?

Driveways can be a problem as some builders seem to think that everyboby drives a 4x4

I could just modify your stock dump? Wouldn't take much to do.
It'd be best to do it on the car to make sure it fits well and doesn't hit anything. If you can get a flange to suit the td05 it would make it easy (mrb1 probably has them).
Do you want simple or a 3" split dump that reduces down to the stock (?) tail pipe?

Thats a good idea about modifying the stock one, i'll get my hands on a flange to suit and give you a call.
