Jap spec Lancer turbo motors?
Was the turbo top mounted on the manifold?

The G62B motors sound like Cordia motors, cos I know the Cordia's are 4G62's, they're East West mount, 1.8 litre. Very similar engine, can even run with the same ECU (tried it) and pretty much bolt in to a Starion (cos people often swap a Starion DASH motor straight into the Cordia's) But they're not 2 litre, only 1.8.

^ It doesnt work like that.

The Cordia is a Narrowblock motor. The Starion is a Wideblock motor. Unless swapping out the gearbox for a narrowblock one (2L sigma etc) it wont work.

Cordia came with Dash motors overseas we well. Thats where they get the Dash setup from usually.

Check the engine number to confirm what it is rather than go off whats written on the fan.

No they didn't. There is no such thing as a DASH Cordia. The only other car to get the DASH motor other than the Starion GSR-V was the E15A Galant/Eterna VR which is east/west like the Cordia.
