all depends on it's condition, you really cdant tell what its like b4 u go see it.. just becasue something is said to run well doesnt mean it handles well or stops well...but if u get a mint car for 2k thats a good price.

oh, and stallion was not another name for the starion, they say that the japanese wanted to call it stallion but because they cant pronounce the L's they ended up saying 'starion', and it was just left like that... :wtf:

Speaking of bad names, someone once said the Japanese read right to left, not sure if thats bollocks or not, but the amusing thing is:

Subaru backwards is u-r-a-bus

they read right tio left but they also read down the page when reading newspapers, etc. ie, they read in coloms of characters from right to left

You should go look at it, they did say or nearest offer. Also if the year is correct it is a JB or JD

Prolly a JB but, I would also check it out, I reckon they will come down to 1300, get a compression test and scour the body and sills for rust
panel rust is cheap to fix but structual rust isn't as easy especially if it is in the sills or in some stupid place.

i dont think the japanese can write "stallion" in japanese characters let alone pronounce it.. there are no characters for "ll" in the japanese language.. but of course, there is for "starion".. sta ri on... well thats wat 3 years of japanese back in high school taught me.. to the best of my recollection rofl
