Starion labelled JD factory floor mats and window guards

Post by MitsuMadness »

[FLOOR MATS PHOTOS NOW POSTED - ON SECOND PAGE]

Fund raising time for building my engine!

I have for sale for $200neg a full set of 5 JD Starion floor mats (2 front 3 rear because there is one special shaped one that goes over the trans tunnel). They are grey plush carpet and have Starion written on them in white, and are in fairly good condition other than a bit of basic wear and tear.

Also for $100neg are driver and passenger window slimline metal window wind deflectors / guards, also with Starion written on them, from my JD.

If anyone even might be slightly interested in either, let me know and I'll post photos, even if it's just for curiosity.

I'm located in Vic, but am happy to post, just ask and I'll find out postage costs.

I'd like to see what you've got.

Also where did you get the parts to swap to the GSR-V motor? I've got some things but missing others.

Hi! Sure thing, I'll take photos tonight and post them up.

Yeh my JD is a GSR-V with the DASH motor in it from factory, only imported from Japan about 3 years ago. So that's why it came with all the accessories, etc.
What parts are you still needing? I do have some spares.

Yep window guards are in good condition :)
Window guards now sold - to MrBishi!

Interesting comment about GSR-V / JD, err yeh, I'm gonna have a close look when I get home! But yeh it's definitely the GSR-V cos it has all the little GSR-V stickers and that stuff still factory, and has the 5 stud wheels, black plush interior, rear surround spoiler, so that's where I assume JD (but I seem to remember other stuff confirming JD too, but will check that out on the plate).
Was GSR-V a different designation to JD?

JD is for Australian delivered models only. GSR-V is the Japanese spec.

Dash motor and 5 stud are the main difference from GSR-V to JD.
JD only has the intercooled 8V motor and 4 Stud.

Also the gsr-v were built latter than the aus delivered jd. If anything if it was aus delivered it would be a je rather than be called a jd.

For which car are you building a donk?
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

Welllllllll kinda a few things at once really... want to set up a spare engine for the JB track car so I can drop it in and keep racing if something happens, and also am wanting to start fiddling with multipoint.
Then I am also thinking of pulling out the VR4 parts and sitting the starion block on my engine stand to tempt me to start assembling.

You doing your engine rebuild inspired me that I should get fiddling engine side as well as body side :)

Oh and I want to start saving for custom coilovers for the JB track car, cos the shocks are really shot in it.

So yeh, basically time to start raising some funds by selling everything I don't need including spare dirt bikes, and spare anything other than Starions :D

UPDATE:

So I have the floor mats out of the car now, and am getting them steam cleaned, then will photograph them for people to see! (Will look much nicer once they're clean) :)
