WTB: turbine housing for TC06-11A (080 inlet)

Post by JJH »

As the subject says, I need a turbine housing (exhaust side) for TC06-11A (080 inlet) with absolutely no cracking (especially around the wastegate valve seat).
If anyone has one please pm me with price details.

they are more or less the same, however on the Cordia the bolts go through the top of the manifold and thread into the exhaust housing itself which is below the manifold, whereas on the Starion it's reversed with bolts going through the starion exhaust housing threading into the manifold itself. Because of that the section where the bolt heads would sit if a Cordia housing is used is not quite flat, it's on a slight taper but not as much as a VR-4/Evo TD05. You will need to drill out the holes on the Cordia housing to allow the bolts to pass through to thread into the Starion manifold.

I'm using a Cordia/FWD Sigma TC06 turbo on my Eterna currently, I just rotated the turbo core so the oil feed was facing straight up again, and drilled out the locating pin on the compressor housing and rotated the housing to point the piping where I wanted it to go. The wastegate actuator bracket was modified and spaced out a little to allow it to be mounted back on in the right place.

Jeff,

I have one here doing nothing except waiting for you to need one. If you pay the postage you can have it for the princely sum of zip. :beer

There is a busted stud/bolt thread in the wastegate cover area that would just need to be drilled out and re-tapped but there are no cracks etc.
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
