For Sale 1983 JA 4G63 Motor + Performance Parts, Lotsa stuff

Post by Anubi$ »

Hello all starion owners and enthusiasts, I have recently sold my 1983 JA and I thought I would auction off the spare motor I was building, along with some of the parts I thought I would keep from the project.

Here is the list of parts and note that I will not sell anything separately as this is a good deal and I’m only doing this so I get some money for the missus……sigh………I know you have all felt that one before, lol.
Anyway.....
- 4G63 motor, it was reconditioned less than 12,000 km’s before I got my hands on it.
- Turbo is almost new (only did 8,000 km’s) and I recently reconditioned the turbo as well.
- All the gaskets are new.
- Head is in perfect condition and was reconditioned at the same time as the motor but is removed currently, this was for purposes of lightly greasing and turning the pistons, inspecting the head also.
- High Octane chip is installed in my ECU, I put the motor together originally for testing and with the high octane chip and it ran safely at 13/14 psi with no pinging or valve bounce, at all.
- HKS PFC F-CON plus GCC (A/F adjustment) this is an extremely good air fuel system for an old car like the starion because of its versatility, it cost me $500 but it’s worth a hell of a lot of more
- Blitz dual stage boost controller Spec S, it is a very good boost controller (it can switch between psi modes while driving…12>click>click>14>click>21>click>7.. yeah its really cool)
- Five R, Racing mini turbo timer not great but it does its job perfectly.
- Drift BOV adjustable
- Speco boost meter
- Autotechnica shift knob (silver and black leather)
- Oil cooler
- Reconditioned starter motor
- There is a few other things that I can throw in but I forget off the top of my head Ill post more when I check later.
- Alternator decent condition, well it still keeps the charge
- Intake manifold needs a sensor replaced but other than that everything will be included besides radiator exhaust and air con. Also I do not have a wiring loom as it was originally gonna to be used in my starion, so only true enthusiasts should bother because once this is put together will produce a fair bit of power also the HKS unit requires experience to use correctly.

Look, about the price I have to get my missus some money so $1200.00 AUD will be the price for the lot and that is completely, 100% non negotiable. Altogether what is advertised cost me close to $3000 and I have not been able to use any of it, also the motor has been greased regularly to make sure it wont sieze. Note I have already had to barter with my girl and so I will not settle on the price.

My number is 02 6255 2256, if I’m not at home just leave a message for me with your name and number. My name is Simon. And if you live in Canberra you can visit and give everything a geese, otherwise I will get a camera and post the photos here soon.

Also Email. simonlutze@hotmail.com

Hey guys, sorry I havent got the photos in yet but I havent been able to borrow my sister digital, at the latest they will be here on the 20th.

Also I forgot to mention that the motor has the flywheel and clutch attached and the clutch is realitivly new, it might need a bit of a clean but.

More parts I forgot to mention were the distrubuter, which is aftermarket and was used and set slightly advanced because of the high octane fuel. Performance leads will be thrown in aswell. And finally I found the engine bays half of the wiring harness with all of the sensors, connections and other electronics attached.

Finally there are blue and red mitsubishi seatbelt covers I know they are not parts, lol. but I will throw them in too as I would not taint them in any another car other than the starion or maybe a 3000gt :pimp

I have uploaded the images but Im not sure if I have done so correctly, if they are not there tommorro morning I will try again as there is like 20 photos, so I dont know how long it might take the site to refresh.

Also like I said, the extremeties are pretty dirty but everything internal is clean, except manifolds and all works perfectly. Its mainly just grime that I havent botherd to clean as it was still an ongoing project.

Mate I don't think you will be able to sell it all as a whole. Maybe consider splitting it up and selling bit by bit. You will atleast get somewhere with that. :beer Goodl uck though
