F/S 85 JB starion- SOLD

Post by RiceThief »

85 Starion in good original condition, motor runs great, JA bonnet, near new tyres,LSD, turbo timer, 228, 000 kms, paint is good apart for the roof which is showing some fade, interior is good, door cards have some cracking at the tops, was registered but selling without rego.

The bad is theres a crack in the rubber pipe to the turbo, clutch pedal feels spongy and the power steering is leaking (i have a spare that will come with the car).

$2000 firm, reason for selling is need money to put towards GSR-V hence the cheap price.

This was the one from the Gold Coast. The car wasn't too bad. Did you buy it from the guy did you? This was owned by the same car salesman that is still trying to sell the fake bathurst starion. Well fake by not being an original.

Still it would be a great starting base for someone.

The 'Group A Starion' you talk of is a the real deal, Bathurst race car. I know the car well and have seen it in the flesh. Just a bit expensive for me anyway.

In that case there is only one factory Aussie Group A race car left and I believe it is in Sydney. The other one of the two was completely written off by Mr Brad (rough as guts!) Jones, at its last race meeting in Malasia some years back.

Yes i did buy it from the gold coast from chooky who is also selling the group a starion. Woody you come on forum and stir shit, posting stuff that is so ill informed. chooky is a nice genuine guy who was extremely helpful so for you to make a claim that its fake shows just how ignorant you are.

Defective - Ja in australia had the archanic eci, where as the jb/jd in australia have the late model version of the eci.

I never intended to stir shit mate. I stated that the car was a nice car, and a great starting car. I think my post was blown out of propertion here. But doesn't matter, I don't care if you think I am trying to stir shit or not. Good luck with the sale anyways. I will say it again. This is a good car to start with. Or even continue on from.
