I bought this ecu for my sigma about 7 months ago for $500 and spent $350 getting it calibrated to suit a magna ignition setup. so basically you can put the 2.6L engine into your sigma or starion with the throttle turned around and have full control over the tuning of the fuel and ignition. i can supply the wiring loom too if you want. this computer is in full working order as the guys at microtech went over it when re-calibrating it.

I'm after $450 with it with the wiring loom.

I also have a hand controller for it that i bought brand new. hasn't even been out of bubble wrap. i bought for 300. will sell for $200.

I can supply pics if needed, but will take a few days as i just took pics on my friends camera and will have to get them emailed to me then on to you if needed as i don't have a camera myself.

Hi Phil, I'm not sure if it is lap top enabled? there is a cable with the hand controller, but not with the ECU.
It is version 1.0.
It was setup to suit a magna distributor, so you can tune it for boost.
It also has a map sensor, so no air flow meter is needed.

Hope that helps.

so can you actually interface with this ecu on a laptop and tune or do you need the hand controller?

Ok, i just called the guys at microtech and they stated that it is laptop enabled. apparently thats what the 'L' stands for in LT-8s.

So that answers that question for all interested. :)

might have to takwe this off your hands. I gotta go look up the specs. I sold my haltech e11v2 a while back, this may be a better than no stand alone at all deal.

Its a full wiring loom. and total stand alone ECU.
Basically, get a 2.6L engine, use a magna manifold and distributor and tune. i also have a magna manifold if anyone needs one. for $200. to suit RWD with injectors (standard)

Is this able to be reconfigured to run a twincam 4g63?

No. you cant re-configure the LT8 series anymore. So it has to suit an astron 2.6.
