front and rear strut braces

Post by groupAralliart »

I am considering this package (details are from supplier in the States so in US dollars). I can get them shipped and would think that landed in Brisbane the complete cost for both front and rear would be approx $450 (working on $90 aus for shipping). details below:

Image

*Powder coated Gloss Black Finish
*Does not need to be removed to take off valve cover
*Stiffens chassis both laterally and torsionally
*Minimal cargo space loss with rear brace
Front Brace Only $235.00
Rear Brace Only $119.00

Front and Rear Brace Package $339.00

I hope that if we were to buy a few sets then the package might get closer to the $400 landed.

Let me know if you have genuine interest in this as I do. Cheers Steve

I was lucky enough to get a Cusco front brace with my new front cut and may investigate making a rear one my self. Which ever way I go I can still help with arranging these ones from the states.

I will probably just buy a rear but am happy to get others their packages. I will check when my mate is going over and how much shipping will be and then can get a final price if I know there are a few who are in. If there are only one or two people interested I won't bother but if we had half a dozen or so it is more do-able. Any one else interested?

So far:
Me for 1 rear

Derek for 2 fronts and 2 rears

A word of warning on the US front strut braces. I seem to recall that there was a problem with the brace hitting something when used in a RHD car (brake master cyl??). Try searching through the forums before you commit to the sale.
