just wondering how easy it is too find a 7 bolt 88mm stroke crank
SR20 powered starion what have I done..... :P

Y 2L? if yr going to do a conversion, wouldn't it be better to use a 7Bolt 2.4L crank? :beer

Derek I have been talking to him and he wants to build a 2.1 as he has been checking other sites and says that this combo has the best rod ratio and is able to rev to 10,000 rpm
BTW how did you go with the auto staz .Did he still have it ???

yeah using a 2L crank in a 2.4L block makes a much better rod ratio if you use 162mm rods....
SR20 powered starion what have I done..... :P

Was thinking out of the square & that one could get the same rod ratio in a 2 litre by using the 162 long rods with stroker pistons What do you think and where do u buy then & how much

if u use 162mm rods in a 4g63 block the pistons will stick out the top of the block at TDC

Think about it :) STROKER PISTONS HAVE THE PINS 6MM CLOSER TO THE CROWN
So wouldn't that make them level with the top ???????????
