yeah but I'm running out of space quick! The shell is at a mates workshop and he needs it gone soon, the larger parts I've removed so far like doors/bonnet/bumpers are at another mate storage lock up taking up his room, and most other bits are in my garage taking up precious room that the Eterna could be using. Not to mention that in 3 weeks I'll be moving out of my house and moving all my gear (including the Eterna) some 2 hours south of Hamilton. Can't get the Eterna in my garage to work on in order to make it ready for the trip south until I get rid of Starion parts etc.

oh there's also a set of rear quarter glass windows loose from the car, and also the set which are still attached to the car.

Any interest in a large 4-bolt non-LSD diff + axles? Will be replaced with a 6 bolt unit so no use to me. 3.909 ratio.

Also have a more or less complete good cylinder head for a SOHC 8V engine.

Check the length of the torque tube on the diff. I think you will find it's a small diff. From memory 17" = long torque tube, small diff &
16" = short torque tube, large diff!

I'm pretty sure it's a small diff and a very handy ratio to have in that size :)

I have the exact same car and I can vouch it's a small open diff!
The other 2 I had/have the same size diff although were LSD's!

hrmm weird, I put my spare small 4 bolt axles up against the flanges and the diameter was different? The diff housing and axles are out of the car while the torque tube and subframe is still mounted to the car, will have to measure torque tube length when I get it out.

^^^^
I have been curious whether the drive shafts/axles were the same as the early ones with the small diff? Obviously, slightly thicker shafts and flange to beef up the 5 stud rear end!

yeah, just seems weird to skimp and keep the small diff though! weird how the lowest power JD gets a large diff while the highest powered DASH model gets a small diff!

It may have had the big diff replaced at some stage with a small diff.
I know bridgeys car is a 5 stud car with a small open diff in it. The diff in that car was blown years ago....
