yep but it bolts straight up to my gear box. Which is what I want. I will upgrade the gearbox when it dies. But for now, I want the conversion done. And its easiest to get it running with the current box rather than stuffing around with the rest of the drive train at the same time.

yeah dude so does the 6 bolt 8 valve 2.4 block!

what head are you planning on using with the 7 bolt block? you're going to run into trouble if u plan on using a pre evo 4 dohc head... vr4 or galant VR4 wont work on that block due to the extra oil drains..

get a 6 bolt block mate unless you have an evo 4 on head.

why? mitsu 2.4's are all wideblocks.. the 6 bolt 2.4 even has provision for the power steering pump bracket from a dohc.. no special brackets required.

What about the g64 GDi? I guess they are all 7bolt, but would a 16valve head (evo or galant) fit? (I know the pistons won't make it...)
There are shitloads of GDi's at the wreckers over here, for peanuts... :D

Is this OT??? LOL

Busted! I knew I shouldn't have left my name at the end
Lucky it's not in NSW. I would buy it for sure! I've always wanted one in that colour scheme....
What's it worth? I reckon up to $3-$4K? in that condition. Good buy for someone.
