I am now being quoted "definitely before the end of the year"

He's only had the bits since the 3rd week of July, got to cut him some slack, right...?
 Maybe cut him a new a* instead

is he the only fibreglass guy around? some competition might help him find some time to do the job.. if you know soemone else who's willing to do it, perhaps talk to the someone else and see when they reckon they can get it done.. and then tell the first guy that if he can't do it by x date, you'll be taking it elsewhere

You guys have given up on me I'd imagine. But I haven't given up on this project, HELL NO!

I climbed up this guy a bit today. He knows there's people wanting these things, he knows there's more work if he gets these sorted out and he has also been reminded that by Christmas he's had them for virtually six months. Bloody woeful!!

I'm still being nice-ish. But if we clock over 2010 and I haven't a product to show for it, I'll be pulling the pin on him regardless how far he's gotten and taking it elsewhere. I've drawn the line...

well im sorry mate i let you know how my circumstances changed. at the end of the day i couldnt justify spending over $200 for some carpeted bits of cardboard.

Another chat with the glass guy, the first unit is just about out of the mold now. There will be some modifications made to the mold so the side pieces come out super straight as the original urethane pieces have slight indentations (the material pulls when cured around the fixing points on the inside, yep folks that's how they are, you can see what I mean if you look down the length of them)
These will be top notch bits so please hang in there. I still am...
Should have the first one between Xmas and New Years.

After that things should move a bit quicker, and I will push him when I can give indications as to how many units to produce/sell.
So now is about the time to start a list. The 3 piece kit will be priced somewhere in the $300 to $400 range with the first one a bit cheaper as it will be an identical copy of the original.
I will update this post regularly.

Who wants the very first one?

Then after that...
Who wants the super straight ones with the aerial hole in the LHS?

Who wants the super straight ones with no aerial hole?
(The LHS will be a mirror of the RHS)
